[DeleGate-En] Question about SOCKS-Proxy
31 Jan 2012 10:32:23 GMT psajqbdyi-hugik5trcjxr.ml@ml.delegate.org

Hi!

I'm not able to get delegate working as I need it too... :-)

Problem:
In my company, we use a http-proxy with some sites blocking. I myself use
putty as a socks-proxy (127.0.0.1:8080) to tunnel my companies proxy. So I
need a configuration to use companies-proxy in some, and my socks-proxy in
other cases.

With a configuration like

ADMIN=...
-P8880
SERVER=http
DGROOT=C:\\System\\Path\\Delegate\\bin
FORWARD="socks://127.0.0.1:8080/-4"
FORWARD="http://#user:#password@192.168.164.68:8040"
TIMEOUT=con:100

the whole traffic is forwarded over my socks proxy, which works, but is not
what I want

Only, for example, one site (used here: http://www.evernote.com/Login.action)
should be routed over socks, for example in this way:

ADMIN=...
-P8880
SERVER=http
DGROOT=C:\\System\\Path\\Delegate\\bin
FORWARD="socks://127.0.0.1:8080/-4-_-*:*.evernote.com
FORWARD="http://#user:#password@192.168.164.68:8040"
TIMEOUT=con:100

But this doesn't work - all sites are reachable EXCEPT evernote....

I hope you can give me a hint about what is wrong.... I tried dozens of
configurations but didn't get the rigth one....

Greetings from germany,
Patrick
