[DeleGate-En] Process control

Hello,
I did put my delegate server in production this morning and the result
was a very 'slow' web browsing experience for users.
In the logs i could see the following entries
11/18 09:25:41.48 [10534] 45479+3: REQUEST - CONNECT mail.google.com:443
HTTP/1.1^M
11/18 09:25:41.48 [10534] 45479+3: ## disabled STLS=fsv for CONNECT
11/18 09:25:41.49 [6723] 45525+0: MAX_DELEGATE: got StickyReports: 41819
238506
....

My initial configuration was as follow:
======================
DGROOT=/delegated/delegate
SERVER=http
-P136.156.64.12:3333
LOGDIR=log[date+/%Y/%m/%d]
EXPIRE=1d
CACHE=no
CRON="0 * * * * -expire 2d"
MAXIMA=conpch:64
======================

I suspected that my MAXIMA value was incorrect. So I changed it to
"MAXIMA=conpch:64,delegated:256" and it seems to have resolved the
problem. Now logs show:
11/18 09:36:20.68 [25577] 163+0: MAX_DELEGATE: MAXIMA=delegated:64 <= 64 - 0
11/18 09:36:20.69 [25577] 163+0: #{TR}# MAX_DELEGATE=64 < children=64+0
....

Of course now I am wondering if I misunderstood the meaning of "conpch:
max. number of connections at a time per client host ." and "delegated:
max. number of DeleGate processes runnable at a time".
Could you provide me some clarifications on there meaning and that of
the log lines MAX_DELEGATE?

Unrelated question:
can one decreae/increase the log files verbosity while the delegate
process is running?

Thanks,
Sebastien
