[DeleGate-En] delegate on multiple ips
15 Sep 2006 15:06:23 GMT "Bruce Ryan" <pvagqbdyi-t75q7lvo4njr.ml@ml.delegate.org>

I have a Windows 2003 server with 5 ip addresses. i would like to set up an
HTTP proxy on each ip address. I noticed the command line options to listen
on all ports, but how do I configure delegate to route HTTP traffic on each
individual ip or will it do so automatically?

For example

HTTP traffic (client uses 10.0.0.1 as proxy) ---> delegate proxy ---> web
server (sees request from 10.0.0.1)
HTTP traffic (uses 10.0.0.2) ---> delegate proxy---> web server (sees
request as coming from 10.0.0.2)
HTTP traffic (uses 10.0.0.3) ---> delegate proxy server ---> web server
(sees request from 10.0.0.3)
HTTP traffic (uses 10.0.0.4) ---> delegate proxy server ---> web server
(sees request from 10.0.0.4)
HTTP traffic (uses 10.0.0.5) ---> delegate proxy server ---> web server
(sees request from 10.0.0.5)

Proxy server has IP address of 10.0.0.1-10.0.0.5
My web clients will be used to configure the 5 different delegate proxy
server ip addresses.

any help is greatly appreciated.

many thanks.

Bruce
