It's not the problem of DeleGate.
You will get the same result with another FTP server like the one
on MacOSX.

The logical file system for MLST/MLSD does not have the concept of
ownership of a file, and permision for the group and the root-user
like the file system of Unix, although it introduces "UNIX.mode"
as an example of an OS specific keywoard.

  7.5.5. The perm Fact

A recently extended spec. of MLST/MLSD seems to have introduced
a little more as "UNIX.owner", "UNIX.group", etc.

  ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-ftpext-mlst-16.txt

But anyway it should be required explicitly with "OPT MLST" including
such facts as "UNIX.owner". But your ncftp does not require such
OS specific things.

I think, from the viewpoint of security, it is not desireble to
reveal unnecessary facts about a file to a client, especially when
the client is anonymous.
