 |I have been reading about Delegate, and it sounds really interesting. I am
 |trying to deploy a solution on our network to optimize traffic between our

 |between them and perform gzip/gunzip on that traffic?
 |
 |HostA <--TCP--> DelegateA <--Compressed TCP--> DelegateB <--TCP--> HostB.

The basic configuration of DeleGate to relay TCP port xxx on HostA to yyy
on HostB with compression is like this:

  HostA: delegated -Pxxx SERVER=tcprelay://hostB:aaa FTOSV=gzip
FFROMSV=gunzip
  HostB: delegated -Paaa SERVER=tcprelay://hostB:yyy FFROMCL=gunzip
FTOCL=gzip
