I tested the ROUTE parameter running a DeleGate like

  % delegated -P8118 -v ROUTE="http://localhost:8080/-_-*:localhost/16" CACHE=no MAXIMA=standby:0

then used it from non-localhost interface (using DeleGate as a client)

  % delegated -Fdget PROXY=`hostname`:8118 http://www

it is not forwarded to the upstream proxy. Then I used it from localhost

  % delegated -Fdget PROXY=localhost:8118 http://www

it is forwarded to the upstream proxy, showing a log like this:

09/09 03:20:58.57 [10206] 1+1: ROUTE: http://localhost:8080//
09/09 03:20:58.58 [10206] 1+1: Forward connected [15] { <-} [0.001s]

I added "MAXIMA=standby:0" parameter because a DeleGate process in standy
status tries to reuse kept-alive connection to server when it exists,
regardless of ROUTE parameter (it should be reapired).
