[DeleGate-En] filter into cgi file
06 May 2003 19:11:07 GMT "Carl A. Schreiber" <pwueabdyi-5sbstghyaoxr.ml@ml.delegate.org>

Hi again,

getting delegate to work as required (thanks a lot for support and this great
program) I'd like to go on.

Im want to write a cgi program that send the received data by socket to
another computer.
(I think I've seen a little mistake in your manual:
Under USER LIST you wrote:
	CMAP="sslway:FSV:*:{*:{563,636,990,992,995}}:*" which is similar to
 	=> prot:filterSpec
but under:  http://www.delegate.org/mail-lists/delegate-en/287
you wrote:
	CMAP=rewrite.cfi:FTOCL:protoList:dstHostList:srcHostList
	=> filterSpec:prot

After all my manual studies I still feel unsecure.
The continuesly comming data to be filtered are only
	from the ports: 2189, 2192, 2193, 2194, 2196
so this I wrote for CMAP:
   CMAP="FTOCL:grap.cfi:http:FTOCL:*:{*:2189,2192,2193,2193,2194,2196}}:*"

Now what do I have to write into grap.cfi:

#!cfi
Content-Type: text/html
CGI: grap.cgi

The cgi file grap.cgi looks as follows (partly):
#! /usr/bin/perl
	# create Socket
        my $S = IO::Socket::INET->new( .. );
	..
        # read/write input to socket
        while (<STDIN>)
        {
                read(STDIN, $f, $toBeDefined);
                write(SOCKET_HANDLE, $f);
                write $f; # do I have to write back to STDOUT?
        }

Thanks again for all your effort,
Carl
