| |1. Using the "tunnel" method described on
|  |http://www.delegate.org/delegate/ssh, an http delegate process won't
| |work. It always comes back and says "malformed URL request" or something
| |similar. If I switch to tunneling my delegate speciailists through an

| Could you show me your LOGFILE ?

This is on the remote end. It looks like it's trying to serve the URL
itself instead of connecting where it's supposed to go.

| You will find a line like follows in your LOGFILE:
| ... E-P: No permission: x:d => telnet://pobox... ('telnet' is not
REMITTABLE)
| If so, adding the following line will solve the problem.
|
|   REMITTABLE=+,telnet
|
| Telnet was excluded from the default list of REMITTABLE since 8.0.4.

Hm... the docs don't seem to suggest that. :)

| |A general comment: one improvement I think that could be made on
|  |http://www.delegate.org/delegate/ssh is some concrete examples (e.g.
| |what commands might you execute to make all this work).
|
| At least it was a fairly complete example when it was written...

What I mean is including concrete commands to use, especially in the
advanced example. I understood the concept, I just wasn't entirely sure
what commands to use. For example, the commands I'm using now:

delegated -P4269 TUNNEL=tty7:ssh.shio REMITTABLE=+,telnet

delegated -P8080 MASTER=127.0.0.1:4269 SERVER=http REMITTABLE=*
RES_NS=216.47.113.10 DGROOT=/home/dwelch/delegate

delegated -P2121 MASTER=127.0.0.1:4269 SERVER=ftp FTPCONF="forcexdc"
DGROOT=/home/dwelch/delegate

delegated -P2323 MASTER=127.0.0.1:4269 SERVER=telnet
DGROOT=/home/dwelch/delegate
