I cannot get delegate to work as a POP proxy with the following problem:
Server is pop.exampleserver.org
Username is popuser@example..

I tried:

* OK localhost Proxy IMAP4 server DeleGate/9.5.6
USER popuser%example.org@exampleserver..
USER BAD LOGIN user@host first.
USER popuser@example.org@exampleserver..
USER BAD LOGIN user@host first.
USER popuser@example.org%pop.exampleserver.org
USER BAD LOGIN user@host first.

So basically nothing works. Any idea?
